YOUR ONE VALUE JOURNEY

See what ONE needs to save to pay for itself — without a long form.

If you completed the Gap Check, your result comes with you. Add a few practical numbers and ONE will turn the process picture into an illustrative value estimate.

Turn the work around safety paperwork into a simple value case.

WHAT THIS IS

A short calculator estimates the current cost of safety administration and shows what ONE would need to save for the chosen plan to pay for itself.

WHY IT MATTERS

People should not have to accept a vague claim that software saves time. The useful question is: how much of our current effort would need to reduce before this makes financial sense?

ONE IN PRACTICE

If you came from the Gap Check, ONE carries your focus areas forward. You add only the few business numbers needed to build the estimate.

1 · YOUR PEOPLE

Tell ONE who the people are in ordinary language.

You do not need to classify them using ONE terms first. Use the situations below; ONE maps the relationship and payer underneath for the value estimate.

Show me how ONE maps these groups

Choose the relationship first, then the level of participation the person needs. These are the ONE names used for the groups above:

Our own team

Employees and people principally managed as your workforce.

→ Worker.
Ongoing external people

People outside your own workforce whom you actively manage work with.

→ Connected Worker.
Short-term external people

External people who need digital participation for a short period.

→ Safety Access.
Safety information only

People who only need the released, controlled safety information.

→ External Safety Pack.

Management / authorised access is a permission layer, and Billing Sponsor is a payer choice. Neither is another person type.

2 · WHAT YOU SPEND

About what does the current process cost?

Two numbers are enough for a useful first estimate. Leave direct spend blank if you only want to estimate internal labour.

What should I include in these numbers?

Include only the time and direct spend that genuinely apply to your current process.

INTERNAL TIME AND EFFORT

Think about task/SWMS/SOP preparation, pre-starts and toolbox material, licence and competency checking, inductions, permits, plant checks, chasing signatures or evidence, corrections, finding current records, repeat-work adaptation, supervisor reconciliation and tender/audit evidence preparation.

DIRECT SPEND

Direct spend can include templates, other safety software, training/induction/permit systems, e-sign tools and external document or consulting costs.

3 · CONNECTED BUSINESSES OPTIONAL

Does your work also depend on contractors, labour hire or independent businesses/operators?

This does not change the standard people-plan price shown in this calculator. It helps ONE recognise when ONE Network Assurance may also be relevant as a separate connected-business layer.

4 · YOUR SCENARIO

What if ONE reduced some of that work?

Choose a percentage to test an illustrative scenario. This is your assumption for the calculator — it is not a prediction or savings claim by ONE.

What does this percentage mean?
ILLUSTRATIVE SCENARIO

Think of this as a simple “what if” test. Choosing 20% does not mean ONE will save 20%. It asks what 20% of the cost or time you entered would be worth if that work could be reduced. For example, 20% of A$100,000 is A$20,000. Savings Proof later measures what actually changed.

NEXT — FROM ESTIMATE TO PROOFSee the value case now. Prove what changed later.

Savings Proof continues the same journey. Before you buy, it shows how your Gap Check and value estimate fit together. After ONE is in use, the same pathway can compare real 30, 60 and 90 day workflow measures against the baseline.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Questions about this part of ONE.

Open only the question that matters to you.

Why are there only a few inputs?

The calculator is designed to minimise form burden. It uses the Gap Check context where available and asks only for the figures needed to build an illustrative value estimate.

Does ONE assume a savings percentage?

No. The person using the calculator chooses the scenario assumptions. The website should keep illustrative estimates separate from measured Savings Proof.

What happens after the calculation?

Continue to Savings Proof to see how an initial estimate could later be compared with real workflow measures after ONE is operating.

I still have another question. What should I do?

Use the green Ask ONE button or the full ONE FAQs first. Register Interest is for joining a ONE pathway, not routine product questions.
